Water Department
The Water Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the public water and sewer system within the Town of Ellisburg. This includes water quality monitoring, infrastructure maintenance, and new service connections. If you need assistance with a hookup, a maintenance issue, or have questions about your water service, please contact us. This department is made up of 3 different districts within the township.
- District #1 — Pierrepont Manor
- District #2 — Belleville
- District #3 — Ellisburg
Town employees can be trained and licensed for this position. The water district technicians are responsible for daily testing and reports to comply with the NYS DOH. Municipal water is monitored 24/7 and any problems that arise are handled immediately.
